Notarisation — medical translation

A notary does not check the translation itself; the notary confirms the identity and the signature of the person who signed the certificate of accuracy. That authentication is the step that makes an apostille or a consular legalisation possible, and many foreign registries ask for it even when no further step follows.

Everything is delivered with a certificate of accuracy, which is what a hospital admissions office, an insurer or a foreign registration body will look for. If the file has to be filed abroad, we add notarisation and the apostille of the cantonal chancellery, and we can arrange embassy or consulate legalisation for countries outside the Hague Convention.
